Privacy notice: Outpost League preview
Version privacy-2026-10-13-v1, 13 October 2026.
Who the controller is
The controller of the data described here is Gustavo Bohn, a natural person resident in Brazil. Contact: obvioushindsight@gmail.com.
This page is a preview of a game in development, used to measure interest in its concept. Nothing is sold here.
What we record on every visit, and why
Which version of the page you saw; what you tapped or clicked on it; how long it was visible; and the answers you chose to give (amounts, banner choice, survey questions).
The ad link details (campaign, ad and placement), your country as reported by our hosting provider, and whether you use a phone or a computer.
A scrambled form (a keyed hash) of your IP address and browser identifier, used only to recognise repeat visits and automated traffic. We do not store your IP address itself. The key is deleted with the data; after that, the hashes cannot be linked to anyone.
Purpose: measuring interest in the game concept. Lawful basis: legitimate interest (Brazil's LGPD, Art. 7 IX) in researching whether to build the game, limited to pseudonymous data, with no profiling and no advertising use.
If you ask to be notified by email (optional)
Your email address, the day of consent (no time), the page language, and the version of the consent text you agreed to. We keep these apart from the visit data, with no identifier in common. On a day with a single sign-up, the day and language could still point to the matching visit.
Purpose: one email when the test season opens. Lawful basis: your consent (LGPD, Art. 7 I), which you can withdraw at any time.
We accept an email only after you confirm you are 18 or over. If we learn an address belongs to someone under 18, we delete it.
Cookies
For visitors in Brazil and the US, we use two first-party cookies and no third-party ones: fd_arm (which version of the page you see, so it stays the same if you come back; 90 days) and fd_seen (whether this browser has visited before; 90 days). Visitors from other countries get no cookies.
We use no advertising pixels, analytics services or trackers. We do not use the Meta Pixel: this page sends no data to Meta (Facebook and Instagram). In-app browsers have their own rules, which we do not control.
Who processes the data
Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the page and stores the data (Workers and D1) in the United States (Eastern North America), as processor, under its data processing addendum. The data are therefore transferred internationally, to the United States.
We do not sell or share the data with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Visit data, the hash key and the hashes: deleted 12 months after the analysis. After a deletion, Cloudflare keeps a restorable copy of the database for up to 30 days (D1 Time Travel).
Emails: until the test-season invitation is sent or 24 months after sign-up, whichever comes first, or sooner if you withdraw your consent.
Your rights
Under the LGPD (Art. 18) you can ask for confirmation and access, correction, deletion, information about sharing and withdrawal of consent, and you can complain to the ANPD, Brazil's data protection authority. Write to obvioushindsight@gmail.com.
Visit data are pseudonymous: we can find yours only if you give us details of the visit (date, approximate time and device).
Age
This page is for adults 18 and over.
